Mauro attended Warren John F. Kennedy High School. After high school, he graduated from John Carroll University witha Bachelor of Arts degree. He also received his secondary education teacher’s certificate from Youngstown State University. Mauro was employed at Austintown Fitch High School before becoming Co-owner/Operator of Enzo’s Restaurant and Banquet Center in Warren.

Commissioner Cantalamessa served as a Trumbull County Democratic Precinct Committeeman for 8 years working on local, state, and national campaigns. He is a former member of the Rotary Club of Warren and the City of Warren’s Community Block Grant Citizens’ Committee. As a local small business owner, Mauro has donated time and funds to several area schools and charitable civic projects.
